Candles have been in use for times immemorial and for many different purposes. Candles often help to create an ambience of mystery and romance.
They are also used in many religious ceremonies as the somber light from candles is thought to be of help in meditation. They were one main source of light before electric bulbs came into use. The bulbs however have not been able to make the use of candles obsolete. In recent days, people have also started using organic candles that are environment-friendly, so that you can enjoy the benefits of using candle without harming the environment in any way.
However, before a product is declared organic, it needs to pass through a rigorous scrutinizing process. It is the same with other similar eco-friendly products like mineral makeup and Stageline cosmetics. With organic products, there is no risk of finding any inorganic compound like synthetic paraffin, a carcinogenic compound. Using organic candles thus affords you a clean conscience and the ensuing comfort that your indulgence is in no way causing any harm to the mother earth and is entirely eco-friendly.
Beeswax is most commonly used to make these candles. The fragrant substance is fully natural and the smells like honey. It is pressed in to patterned sheets, often simulating the pattern of a honeycomb. The structure is created by rolling the sheets tightly round the wick.
Natural products are gaining in popularity these days as people are becoming more conscious about the necessity of using products that are natural and are not harmful to nature. Beeswax is one such natural substance which at the same time looks good and exudes a pleasant fragrance. So stop using synthetic candles and use organic candles instead and this small gesture will have its contribution in creating a better world for tomorrow.
