lots happening these days. last night jon brion showed up as a surprise guest at the section quartet's cd release to perform vocals for 'life on mars'. as pointed out in the forums and in the show's report, jon is wearing some kind of weird leg brace. you can read the whole report of the show here or just watch the video below.

pneyu has also pointed out that jon's been popping up in more recent tv appearances, like with kanye west on MTV2 talking about his new album 'graduation'. "I don't think it's anything as extensive as the coverage for Late Registration, but Jon and Kanye talk a little about their standards as producers. Be on the lookout!"

finally, jon is playing september 7th and 8th at largo. reservations got snatched up last week, but maybe some lucky attendees can let us know what happened to mr. brion's leg.
